When should I turn slope off?
Use slope correction when you want elevation factored into the reading. If an event requires distance-only measurements, turn slope off with the external switch and check the event rules before play.
How should I look after it?
Wipe the body with a soft, dry cloth and keep the optics free of grit. Use a clean lens cloth for the lenses. IP54 is a protection rating, so avoid immersion and let the device dry before connecting its USB-C charging port. Follow the device’s charging markings and avoid abrasive cleaners.
