A clear signal at the pin
DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE combines a red visual lock-on sign with vibration. First Target Priority helps distinguish the nearer target when the flagstick is measured against trees or other objects in the background.

CLUB REHAB / GOLF TECHNOLOGY
The COOLSHOT 50i brings a practical cart-side rhythm to the round: retrieve it, measure and return it securely between shots. This is the original 50i, manufacturer part number 16760, with a 100 × 75 × 38 mm body and a 22 mm objective lens.
Nikon COOLSHOT 50i
DESIGNED FOR YOUR GAME
DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE combines a red visual lock-on sign with vibration. First Target Priority helps distinguish the nearer target when the flagstick is measured against trees or other objects in the background.
Slope mode provides uphill and downhill distance guidance for club selection. When the event requires actual distance only, switch slope off; a green external indicator shows that the setting has been changed.
Use continuous scanning for up to approximately eight seconds to measure multiple points across the hole. The 6× view and red OLED readout support an orderly check of the pin, hazards and lay-up targets.

A CLOSER LOOK
The integrated magnet attaches the rangefinder to suitable metal on a golf cart, helping keep it accessible between measurements. Check that the attachment is secure before moving, because vibration or impact can dislodge the unit.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ROUND
Nikon warns that people using medical devices such as cardiac pacemakers should not use this magnetic product. Read the manufacturer’s safety guidance before use.
Select yards or meters, then choose slope-adjusted or actual-distance mode as appropriate. Check the event rules before competition rather than relying on the indicator alone.
The original 50i is rainproof to an IPX4-equivalent rating. Keep it out of standing water and protect it from immersion when conditions turn wet.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
This listing is the original COOLSHOT 50i, MPN 16760. Its specifications and imagery correspond to that exact generation, including its 6.2-ounce weight without the battery.
Nikon lists a general measurement range up to 1,200 yards and a separate 400-yard flagstick reference under Nikon test conditions. The maximum range is not a promised pin distance.
It uses one CR2 3V lithium battery, with automatic shutoff after approximately eight seconds without operation. Distances can be displayed in yards or meters.
