CLUB REHAB / GOLF TECHNOLOGY

A steadier view. A faster reading.

The COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED is built around the moment before club selection: finding the target, confirming the pin and understanding the distance. Its 6× optics and wide 7.5° field of view pair with stabilization to make that sequence easier to manage through the lens.

DESIGNED FOR YOUR GAME

Details that make the difference.

01

Confirmation you can see and feel

DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE pairs a green visual lock-on sign with vibration. First Target Priority helps identify the nearer target when the flagstick and objects behind it both enter the measurement area.

02

Distances with elevation in view

Slope-adjusted Golf mode accounts for uphill and downhill shots. Four measurement modes also cover actual distance and height, giving you the information appropriate to practice, course planning or an event’s rules.

03

A display that adapts

The red OLED display adjusts its brightness automatically. Scan for up to approximately eight seconds to gather distances across the hole, then return to the target that matters for the next shot.

A CLOSER LOOK

Stability begins inside the optics

Nikon’s stabilization system reduces movement in both the image you see and the laser used to measure distance. A steadier view helps keep the flag in sight while you measure, even against a busy background.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ROUND

A little preparation goes a long way.

01

Choose the permitted mode

Before competition, check the event’s distance-measuring rules and select actual-distance mode when slope is prohibited. An external slope-off indicator makes the setting visible.

02

Allow for real conditions

Nikon’s 500-yard flagstick reference is a test-condition figure. Keep the general 1,200-yard maximum separate when assessing pin reach, and recheck an unexpected reading.

03

Respect the weather rating

The body is waterproof to one meter for ten minutes and fogproof; the battery chamber is rainproof. Avoid immersing the battery chamber or operating in running water.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Know before you choose.

Does it make a sound when it finds the flag?

PROIII confirmation is a green visual sign and vibration through DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE. Audio confirmation is not part of this model’s verified specification.

Does it have a magnetic cart mount?

It does not have a built-in magnetic mount. Its defining features are optical stabilization, rapid HYPER READ response and the automatically adjusting red OLED display.

What battery and distance units does it use?

The rangefinder uses one CR2 3V lithium battery and can display yards or meters. It switches off after approximately eight seconds without operation.
