Calculate my grip size

Match the core to the shaft and compare the selected size, weight and butt diameter. The 4X profile adds lower-hand volume without requiring extra tape wraps.

What does 4X mean?

The 4X shape has an enlarged lower hand designed to simulate four extra layers of tape. This shape is built into the grip; extra tape wraps are not included.

How do I install this grip?
  1. Check shaft fit and usable length. Gather grip tape, compatible grip solvent, vise, rubber shaft clamp, hook blade, cloth and tray. Wear eye protection; work with ventilation, away from flames.
  2. Clamp without crushing the shaft. Cut the old grip away from your body; peel off grip and tape. Never cut or scrape graphite.
  3. Clean and dry the shaft. Apply smooth double-sided grip tape, peel its backing and fold the overhang over the shaft end.
  4. Cover the grip’s vent hole. Wet its inside with compatible solvent, then pour the excess over all the tape into the tray.
  5. Slide fully on while wet, without stretching. Seat the cap against the shaft end; straighten the grip before it sets.
  6. Wipe excess solvent. Leave undisturbed for the drying time on your tape/solvent labels. Before play, check it is dry, secure and cannot twist.
How do I clean and care for this grip?
  1. Use warm water with a little mild dish soap and a soft cloth to gently clean the grip.
  2. Remove all soap with clean water, then towel dry. Let the grip dry fully before play or storage.
  3. Store away from direct sun and excessive heat. Replace a grip that is cracked, hardened or remains slippery after cleaning.
