03 / Find your feel

Good fit starts with feel.

A specialist fit for long putters and separated hand positions. Confirm the shaft diameter and grip placement with your club builder before installation. The .620-inch core opening must fit both intended shaft positions. This set is not a one-piece replacement grip.

How should I choose a putter grip size?

Try the shape and size with your usual putting hold. The paddle, back shape and diameter change how each hand contacts the grip. Choose the combination you find most comfortable; swing-grip hand-size measurements do not prescribe a putter grip size.

Can I use this like a one-piece putter grip?

It is a two-section set for a compatible long putter. The lower sleeve and upper capped section need planned positions on the shaft. Check both shaft diameters and hand positions before installation; the listed 134g is the combined nominal weight.

How do I install this grip?
  1. Check shaft diameter at both sections; mark their positions. Gather tape, compatible solvent, vise, rubber shaft clamp, hook blade, cloth and tray. Wear eye protection; ventilate and avoid flames.
  2. Clamp gently. Cut the old grip away from your body; remove it and old tape. Never cut or scrape graphite. Clean and dry the shaft.
  3. Tape both marked areas with one layer; remove backing. Fold 1/4 inch over the shaft end. No build-up tape.
  4. Wet the lower sleeve and taped shaft with solvent. Slide the lower sleeve on first to its mark, without stretching or twisting.
  5. Cover the upper vent hole; wet inside and its taped area. Slide the upper section on; seat its cap at the shaft end. Check both positions.
  6. Wipe excess solvent. Follow label drying times. Before play, check both sections are dry, secure and cannot twist.
How do I clean and care for this grip?
  1. Dampen a soft towel lightly with water and gently wipe the grip. Do not saturate the towel or immerse the grip.
  2. Pat dry with a soft towel. Do not rub vigorously, use a brush or wash with soapy water; these can damage the surface.
  3. Let the grip dry fully before storage and check for surface wear before play.
